Planning a trip to Marbella

The main bus link is between Málaga and Marbella, with Avanzabus (tel. 91-272-28-32) running hourly. The trip takes 45 minutes to 2 hours and costs 5€‒9€ one-way. Madrid and Barcelona each have three daily buses to Marbella. The bus station is located on the outskirts of Marbella on Avenida Trapiche, a 5-minute ride from the center of town.

If you’re driving, Marbella is on the N-340/E-15.

The tourist office, Glorieta de la Fontanilla, s/n (tel. 95-276-87-60), is open Monday to Friday 9:30am‒9pm, Saturday 10am‒2pm. Another tourist office with the same hours is on the Plaza de los Naranjos (tel. 95-277-46-93).
