Harbor View Hotel & Resort
Still a grand old hotel, the Harborview occupies a commanding spot. Relaxing in a rocking chair on the huge verandah overlooking the harbor is something guests here have been doing for more than 100 years. The 114 rooms here are in three areas: the main building, the Governor Mayhew building, and in cottages on the grounds. Rooms have in common a high-toned elegance, on the fancy side of beachy. The two main restaurants, Lighthouse Grill and Henry’s, serve, between them, three meals a day; casual poolside food is also served at North 41.
