The Hob Knob
This very stylish B&B was inspired by the owner’s grandparents, bon vivants who gallivanted around the Ohio countryside, overflowing silver tumblers in hand. Now an eco-friendly boutique hotel, the building has served as a lodging house since at least 1947, when a windblown Senator John F. Kennedy is said to have stayed here during a sailing regatta. The interior is exceptionally stylish with a sense of humor—a cow theme crops up here and there.
