Located in a downtown neighborhood known as Victorian Village, the Woodruff-Fontaine House displays an elaborate Victorian aesthetic, in this case influenced by French architectural styles. Built in 1870, the fully restored 16-room home contains period furnishings. Mannequins throughout the house display the fashions of the late 19th century, a very niche focus. (Read: If you don’t think walking through a house from the 1800s sounds fun, this won’t be!) Note that only the ground floor of the three-story home is wheelchair accessible, and it’s often closed full days for private events, so check the website before going. Allow 30 minutes.
