This chain hotel is entirely run-of-the-mill, but it's a comfortable and convenient choice if you need to be out in the far reaches of East Memphis, Collierville, or Germantown. With 30,000 square feet of meeting space, it's primarily a convention hotel, and it's often packed, but it does have conveniences for non-business travelers, too, like an on-site American bistro, Rook's Corner; a nice gym with heavy weights and a TV on each cardio machine; and a free shuttle service to the airport. Rooms are pleasant, decorated in neutral tones and nice and bright thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows. During those muggy summer nights, the hotel's outdoor pool sure feels good, and there's a hot tub for winter.
