In 2017 cousins Chris and Alex Canale launched Memphis’ first whiskey distillery, in a 50,000-square-foot warehouse just blocks from Beale Street. For $15, visitors can tour the distillery and sample whiskey from a 150-year-old family recipe as well as their other spirits. The rooftop bar offers stunning views of the Mississippi River and up-close views of the 13-foot rooster (Old Dominick’s mascot) that sits atop the building. Tip: Check the Tour and Events tab on their website when planning your visit; there might be a crawfish boil, live music, or specialty high-end tasting on the horizon.
