Arggggh! Who doesn't love a good pirate-themed bar? The Cove is filled to the brim with things like a mast over the bar and a mural of sailors—nautical goodness that would make Jack Sparrow proud (or possibly cringe). The theme continues on the menu, which is heavy on the oysters and rum. What's odd for a quasi-dive bar is how well-crafted the cocktails are. Try the Vampire, a spin on the Bloody Mary with tequila, tomato juice, red-chili salt, and balsamic vinegar; or the Skull & Crossbones, with Gosling’s rum, sweet vermouth, and bitters with a lemon twist. While every night is busy, it gets very packed for Tuesday's trivia nights. The bar also airs cult classic movies on rotation and hosts live jazz, bluegrass, and folk groups.
