Memphis Farmers Market
Each Saturday morning at the corner of S. Front & W. GE Patterson, regional farmers bring their goods to sell at this open-air market. Look for ripe Tennessee tomatoes; turnip, mustard, and collard greens; and other Southern crops. In recent years the market has expanded to include a food court that serves everything from kombucha to cookies. Children’s activities and community camaraderie pervade this market, which operates seasonally from 8am to 1pm, April through October. Highlights include fresh tortilla chips from Las Delicias, royal red shrimp from Paradise Seafood, and Mediterranean food from Raffe’s Catering.
