For a combined package of value, taste, and service La Cirke beats all-comers. Chef-owners Agostino and Eva welcome guests to this sunny corner emplacement above Menton Port. Their set menus, with aperitif included, are to die for. Read smoked swordfish, bouillabaisse Mentonnaise, and langoustine-laden paella. Italian sourced seafood is also a specialty: try salt-baked seabass, calamari fritti, and giant shared platters for two. Wine by the pichet (jug) brings prices down further. Although the 20€ or so bottles of sparkling Prosecco, crisp white Orvieto, and full bodied red Il Roggio will surely tempt.
