Formerly an independently owned NYC hipster import, Dream South Beach—comprised of two landmark Art Deco hotels, the Tudor and the Palmer House—is now part of Hyatt. It features the requisite rooftop pool lounge, Naked Taco restaurant, and hipster-approved mood lighting. The age is showing here, however. Decor of the hotel is definitely something out of a sound sleep: Modern Moroccan meets late-'70s, Studio 54-inspired sleekness. And that’s the only thing getting a sound sleep: THIS PLACE IS EXTREMELY LOUD and not family friendly at. all. But prices are good for the location (the beach is just around the corner). Pets are permitted for a $50 fee.
