Overall, the W is an okay stay. Location is fantastic, but with other, better options in the area, unless you get a FABULOUS deal here, pass. Why do we say that? Well, rooms have seen better days and nights and could use a refurb. Still the 15th-floor pool deck’s sweeping recreation area—lounge and deck space, sun deck with cabanas, and a 310-foot infinity pool overlooking the bay—makes for excellent social media posts. A 28,000 square foot spa and gym are also quite nice.
