Bulla Gastrobar
The kind of place where you can speak with a Catalonian lisp and fit right in, Bulla is the quintessential Spanish gastrobar, with small plates of chorizo, olives, Manchego cheese, shrimps in garlic and brandy, croquettas, gazpacho, patatas bravas, and so much more. Large plates of paella for those who are hungry and patient—it takes at least 30 minutes to prepare—and sangria, lots of sangria. It’s moderately priced compared to other area eateries, lively—especially during happy hours and weekend brunch—and informal, and because of that we’re bully for Bulla.
