Frenchie’s Diner

The cutest little French bistro in town, this isn’t really a diner, it’s more of a Left Bank lingering spot that looks like someone smuggled it in their luggage straight from Montmartre. The indoor/outdoor café has all the classics—French onion soup, escargot, foie gras, charcuterie, and a tres, tres bien tuna niçoise salad. Steak frites are pricey, but good. Sandwiches are better (and cheaper): try the croques and you won’t be disappointed. It’s the kind of place where you’ll want to order the bottle of wine and eat the cheese plate. Allez, as they say!
