Glass & Vine
Housed in the former Coconut Grove Library, this massive, mostly outdoor, 200-seat restaurant highlights the natural beauty of the Grove, with sprawling garden seating beneath the twinkly-lit trees dotting Peacock Park. As gorgeous as it is at night, daytime doesn’t disappoint, with excellent breakfasts and a bustling brunch. This is a family friendly spot, where parents chug cocktails as kids run around in the park. There are a lot of menus here for all sorts of meals and they’re pretty comprehensive, covering everything from skirt steak and gnocchi to burgers, chicken, and salads. Happy hour from 3 to 7pm Monday through Friday is always packed, as is “Throw It Back Thursdays” from 5pm until closing featuring $9 stone crab claws in season and snacks and bar bites for $4 and $7. You can even order your pooch a plate of grilled salmon and pasta for $12--no joke! Live music makes the place especially magical.
