Julia & Henry’s
This food hall, named after Miami pioneers Julia Tuttle and Henry Flagler, is spectacular, housed in an Art Deco landmark on the National Register of Historic Places, with neon-lit glass elevator from which you’d almost expect Willy Wonka and his golden ticketed to emerge. It has nearly 30 food stalls—er, restaurants—including a few from some Miami faves, like Chef Michelle Bernstein (Michy’s Chicken Shack), and a few bars. Do lunch here, it’s a bit less on the wallet. There are also recording studios in here in case the smell of food makes you feel like singing, a children’s play area on the second floor, a basement bar and a rooftop reserved for a restaurant helmed by renowned Italian chef Mossimo Bottura.
