If you can find this place you will love it. A hideaway across the Brightline tracks and the hustle and bustle of Aventura, Neverland is a charmer, inspired by European coffeehouses where people come to work, watch people and actually—we swear—talk to other people over cups of coffee, glasses of beer and wine or a lingering brunch or lunch. The menu has nice salads, breakfast fare, pizzas, a fabulous challah burger and delicious sweet stuff. Dog friendly, kid friendly (fantastic kids’ menu actually), LGBTQ friendly, just people in general friendly, Neverland is a welcome respite from the pretentiousness and pace across the tracks. It’s an ideal place to recharge and go off the grid for a latte or ten—if, that is, you can find a seat. It’s often mobbed here and for good reason.
