Sweet Liberty Drinks & Supply Company
An off the beaten path cocktail mecca that’s industrial-chic-with-a-twist-of- country in looks, Sweet Liberty was put on the map by its creative boozy concoctions. But it also has a menu that impresses—and seesaws between high end fare, and reimagined comfort food faves. On the fancy side, there are oysters, oysters and more oysters, some served with James Beard award winner Michelle Bernstein’s fennel mignonette, crème fraiche and caviar; others baked with garlic chili butter and parmesan breadcrumbs; and our personal fave, the Aguachile Oysters with cucumber, avocado and wasabi tobiko caviar. On the other end of the scale, there’s a sensational spinach and artichoke dip (move over, Houston’s), a to-die-for cauliflower nacho appetizer, fab burgers, and a Maine lobster hot pocket. Desserts? Fireman Derek’s NY Style Cheesecake is the way to go or, for those who prefer to drink their desserts, the Grasshopper 2.0 with Valrhona chocolate is Sweet Liberty in a nutshell. It is IT.
