This gorgeous restaurant/flower shop in arty Brera is not the place for anyone suffering hay fever, as diners almost play second fiddle to the stunning, ever-changing floral displays that are shown to best effect against bare plaster walls—and they are all for sale, too. Although the cuisine at lunch and supper is solid pan-European pastas, risotto, calamari, tuna, veal Fioraio Bianchi comes into its own as an afternoon stop-off for creamy French cannelès flavored with vanilla. Early evening also gets going as smart local couples and families pour in at aperitivo time for cocktails and one of Brera's best choices of grazing plates, such as Bellota ham with manchego (sheeps' cheese) or tuna sushi with guacamole.
