One of Tuscany’s leading wine producers houses guests in stylish luxury, in a repurposed little borgo pressed against the castle walls. What were once peasant cottages are these days extraordinarily luxurious suites and rooms fitted with stylish traditional furnishings, sumptuous fabrics and rare antiques, plus the latest in technological gadgetry. Aside from the polished and attentive service, guests enjoy such amenities as a swimming pool, a secluded rose garden, and two excellent restaurants. Also on the estate is a farmhouse where five large apartments provide a much more informal experience. Furnishings are comfortably rustic, and wide covered terraces overlook miles of vineyards. Guests are left to fend for themselves, though the kitchens are well stocked with estate wines and all the provisions for a satisfying breakfast.
