Shoppers may want to pick up some foie gras at the Conserverie Artisanale Larroque, 1670 Chemin de Matras (tel. 05-63-63-45-40). Or visit Maison Pecou, 10 rue de la République (tel. 05-63-63-06-38), for a supply of montauriol (chocolate-covered cherries with a shot of Armagnac) and boulet de Montauban (chocolate-covered roasted hazelnuts) candies.
Head for the Cathédrale Notre-Dame, place Roosevelt (tel. 05-63-63-10-23), a classical building constructed in 1692 and framed by two square towers. In the north transept is the monumental painting the church commissioned from Ingres, Vow of Louis XIII. It's open daily from 8am to 7pm. Mass is held Sundays at 11am.
