Here’s another hotel where the location is the star, as its centrally located and, if you’re not a walker, just a hop and a skip from the the Sendlinger Tor U-Bahn stop. Built around 1960 and renovated in 2002, this efficient, modern hotel is also quite a good value, cost-wise. The rooms are fairly small, with simple, comfortable furnishings—in most cases, a wood-trimmed bed, desk and chair in a functional Scandinavian design-offset by a pale rose-pink carpet. But they have nice, little balconies and are kept spotlessly clean. Bathrooms are compact and have showers. For a quieter room, request one that faces the courtyard. The breakfat buffet costs an additional 10€.
