Just 1 mile away from the sands and waters of the Gulf of Mexico, this charming inn is set in the upscale North Naples neighborhood of Pelican Bay, across the street from the bustling Mercato shopping center. It’s quiet and not unlike staying in someone’s apartment, but you don’t have to make the bed. Decor is “Mediterranean meets Old World,” with dark-wood furniture, comfy pillow top beds, and, in some rooms (request these) bathrooms have a jetted tub, separate shower, and huge vanity area. A complimentary full breakfast is offered, as is afternoon tea. The lobby bar overlooks a fountain-filled lake and features a regular roster of live music and entertainment. There’s a nice heated outdoor pool with fire pits and they also provide transportation to the beach, and loaner beach chairs, towels and umbrellas.
