Shuffleboard! That’s just one of the old timey amenities at this Old Florida motel. The board is set next to large heated pool, with a gas grill and rocking chairs, in 1.5 acres of tropical gardens. Breakfast is included in the nightly rate, there’s a laundry on site for guest use, and rooms all come with mini-fridges and microwaves (some have full kitchenettes). So does it matter that the furnishings of the guest rooms is mass produced and not that memorable? Or that the motel is a short drive away from the beach? The beds are comfortable and the nightly rate even more so. A motel with owners that care is a thing of beauty.
