Chop's City Grill
The smells of steak and money waft through this urbane bistro that’s more Miami than Naples in vibe. Dry aged, top-quality steaks of all cuts are the specialty, including American and imported Wagyu, and a clever New York Strip ‘tasting’ in which you 3 ounces each of American and Australian Wagyu and USDA prime. Fresh fish from the grill is another good choice—a pan seared black grouper with mushroom risotto and a sauce of ‘screaming hot’ rock shrimp, is especially good. Whiskey fans will appreciate the 100 selections, and oenophiles (hopefully) won’t be daunted by the 350-bottle wine list. And because no restaurant these days is complete without it, there’s also a sushi menu, but this is a steakhouse first and foremost.
