The Red Roof Inn, off Trinity Lane, is the best of an unremarkable assortment of inexpensive motels in the area that target price-sensitive travelers. The rooms are basic but clean, with generic low-end hotel furnishings. It's just a few miles north of downtown, and it also offers easy access to I–24 and I–65, so that the happening areas of East Nashville and Germantown are only a short drive away as well.  Although there is a Jack Cawthon's Bar-B-Que nearby, the general neighborhood isn't the best Nashville has to offer.
