This place, like many good things from Brooklyn, is a weirdass idea that absolutely works. In addition to 19 lanes of bowling—where you can eat, drink, and still catch the show playing down below—it’s also got four bars slinging local beers and a restaurant serving the kind of food that’s great for sopping that beer up (See: Rock and Roll Fries with chicken gravy, melted cheese and cajun seasoning). Shows in this centrally located Germantown hang are wide-ranging: They’ve got all-ages kids’ singalongs to the music of Kenny Rogers and Dollly Parton; 18-and-over Club ‘90s nights featuring the music of Justin Bieber; and, of course, live shows by bands as disparate as Sevendust and Deer Tick. The prime location—right next to First Horizon Park where the Nashville Sounds baseball team plays—doesn’t hurt.
