New and “preloved” music is bought and sold at Grimey’s, an independently owned record store and community gathering place for all things music. Stop by their Trinity Lane location in an old church (they had to move from 8th Ave. when the rent increased) to buy T-shirts, posters, concert memorabilia, and other cool stuff, and get a leg up on everything that’s going on around town. They also host listening parties, record-release events, and free concerts that frequently draw stars on the rise (Lily Hiatt, Anderson East), as well as heavy-hitters like Jason Isbell from time to time.
