Planning a trip to Nerja

At least 16 buses per day make the 1-hour trip from Málaga to Nerja, costing 7€ one-way. Service is provided by Alsa.

If you’re driving, head along the N-340/E-15 east from Málaga or take the N-340/E-15 west from the Motril junction with A-14 coming south from Granada.

The tourist office, at Calle Carmen, 1 (tel. 95-252-15-31), is open Monday to Friday 10am‒2pm and 5‒8pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am‒1:30pm.

Special Events in Nerja

A cultural festival takes place here in July. In the past it has drawn leading artists, musicians, and dancers from around the world.
