The name really says it all: a Bahamanian blue-and-yellow shack across from reh Mélia resort on Cable Beach selling excellent, freshly made, inexpensive daiquiris. It operates a bit like a juice bar—only with lots of rum added—with all drinks made to order.

The friendly bartenders are surrounded by a cornucopia of fresh fruits and coconuts, ready to blend up any combo with some ice and simple syrup and decant into plastic cups—virgin, or atop a generous pour of rum. There are picnic tables, and a few spots at the bar.

The operational price at the Daq Shack is $6: The cost of a daiquiri, a burger with chips or fries, or an order of fried chicken wings to soak up the drinks. (Beers are $3).
