You’ll see works from the 18th century to the present; and the breadth and variety of the art can be quite stunning. Recent shows have dealt with a wide range of topics, from the art created inside mental institutions to religiously-inspired drawings by Shaker women. The book-and-gift shop is terrific, filled with one-of-a-kind pieces.
