As long as you don’t mistake this place for a restaurant (the food is overpriced and underwhelming), you’ll have a swell time at this long-established theater district piano bar. Everyone here sings—the pianist, the bartenders, the waiters, the bus boys—and since most are aspiring Broadway performers, the talent level is high. Little time is given to customers who want to warble a tune, however (a disappointment for some guests, a relief to others). Off the main room are two cabaret rooms for nightly performances; they vary greatly in quality (unless you know the artists, we’d recommend sticking with the piano bar).
