You visit Mercury Lounge because of the talent of its booker: If there’s a band playing in and around New York City that’s on the edge of hitting it big, you’re going to hear them here. It’s just a shame that the room they have to play in isn’t more comfortable. With very few seating options, it’s not a great place to hang out. Still, if the music is your main priority, this is the place to hit.
