A London import from experimental mixologist Ryan Chetiyawardana (aka Mr. Lyan), cocktail nerds will appreciate the wizardry behind the bar’s Coriander Gimlet (which gets its acidity not from lime but from coriander seeds), and its Beeswax Old Fashioned which gets its luscious mouthfeel from, yes, beeswax. This basement drinkery has a groovy, 1970’s feel, thanks to low tables lit by mushroom shaped lamps. But we recommend sitting at the bar to chat with the gregarious bartenders.
