Hotels in Nuweiba

The coastline on either side of Nuweiba is littered with little "camps" that fill in the holes between the half-finished resorts. Most are no more than a dozen woven-grass huts around a central shower and eating facility. I have listed one clean, basic place in Nuweiba and another to the south of the town. Tarabin, however, is one long strip of these camps for you to explore. The Petra is probably the first place I would try if Soft Beach (below) is full or doesn't appeal. Warning: A number of apparently more salubrious facilities exist around Nuweiba, but I strongly recommend not booking anything that is not listed here without first inspecting the premises -- there are a string of half-finished and half-closed resorts in the area that will quickly turn a holiday into a nightmare.
