Fager's Island
Fager's Island has been throwing a party here on the bay since 1975. And it just gets bigger every year. You have your choice of fine dining in two quiet rooms overlooking the bay or casual and much less expensive dining and nighttime entertainment, both DJ and live music, at the bar and in the sand. Even sunsets are special here, celebrated by the playing of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture. In the summer, the party goes on every night. Off season, there's a DJ or band Friday to Monday. Ask about the angel on the gazebo roof. She disappeared when the gazebo was destroyed during Hurricane Sandy—and floated back home.
