Seacrets
The party actually starts early at Seacrets. Young adults start arriving to pick out their place for a day of sun and fun beginning before noon. And why not? This is a theme park that serves light fare and drinks. Even the under-21 (and their parents) are welcome for lunch and dinner. It's too bad they decided not to continue breakfast under the palm trees in summer 2013. But Seacrets does go late into the evening, when bands and DJs—usually local folks but big name bands make special appearances—crank up the sound and this mega-bar starts rocking under those palm trees and twinkling lights. The crowd is mostly 20-somethings, but anyone who wants to dance is certainly welcome. Special parties mark the full moon and new moon. By the way, taxi drivers know a good thing—they line up at closing time to take partiers who shouldn't drive back to their rooms. Warning: be vigilant in the parking lots, where an intoxicated patron reported being assaulted a few years back.
