The Room Mate hotel chain excels at converting older buildings to unique hotels. One of their trademarks is to use bright colors and patterns on the guest room walls to make even small spaces seem lively and welcoming. Marcos is no exception and makes liberal use of black and white in the decor to give the property a sophisticated Art Deco feel. Some rooms have an additional sofa bed and others have a small sitting area. The excellent buffet breakfast is served until noon.
