Best Western Bay View Suites
You can’t beat the price on Paradise Island—though note the name: “Bay VIEW Suites.” No, this Best Western on the southern side of Paradise Island is not on the beach (nor, in fact, do many rooms even have a “bay view”). It’s more of a quiet, inexpensive condo on a notoriously boisterous, pricey island.
It is, above all, a bargain for a one- or two-bedroom suite of bright tropical colors on four acres of tropical gardens, and it comes with everything you truly need: A/C, free Wi-Fi, three pools, and actual full kitchens (there’s a big grocery store in the Harbour Bay Shopping Centre on East Bay St across the bridge in Nassau).
It’s also just a short stroll from a small beach, and less than a half-mile walk from the Atlantis, where a $139 day pass will get you access to all of that behemoth resort’s beaches, water park, restaurants, The Dig aquarium, and incessant fun.
