Jacó has a wide range of restaurants, many catering to surfers and budget travelers. If you’re looking for simply prepared fresh seafood, Marisqueria El Recreo (tel. 2643-1172) is a good bet. For traditional Costa Rican food, Soda Jacó Rustico (tel. 2643-2727) is super-popular and cheap, as is Chinita Pacific (tel. 8501-6651). Sushi lovers should head to Tsunami Sushi (tel. 2643-3678), in the Jacó Walk Shopping Center, which also features restaurants and food stands selling burgers, bowls, paletas, and ceviche.
