Restaurants in Playa Montezuma
You’ll find several basic sodas and casual restaurants right in the village. Pizzeria Chelo (tel. 2642-1430), at the crossroads into town, serves Argentinean fare and thin-crust pizzas, calzones, and pastas. You might also want to check out the Spanish cuisine and fabulous setting at the downtown Hotel Moctezuma (tel. 2642-0058), or the varied international fare at Cocolores (tel. 2642-0348). Just outside of downtown proper, the Israeli-owned Puggo’s ★ (tel. 2642-0325) serves up an eclectic menu that ranges from falafel to ceviche to focaccia and beyond.
