Each room here is named after a local beach, appropriate as this place pretty much embodies a “fun in the sun” aesthetic (that being said, the hotel is not a beachfront one; you’ll have to walk a few blocks to the sands). Guest digs are spacious and well maintained, with cool tile floors and a relaxed, tropical decor. All come with a hammock, chaise lounge, or wooden Adirondack chairs on a private patio. The central pool is quite inviting, with a broad natural-stone and wooden deck area encircling it and tall shade trees all around. The hotel’s poolside bar and restaurant is one of the livelier spots in town (with frequent live music and open-mic nights), so this is not the best spot to come for peace and quiet.
