A recent menu update here has made a very good restaurant even better. Today Lola serves classic steaks, a beef Wellington and a filet mignon demi-glaze with mushroom risotto; and mouthwatering fish plates, such as codfish filet in a sweet Spanish pepper sauce, and a sea bass in creamy tarragon sauce. Starter are just as good: really fresh salads and a long, adventurous appetizer menu with items like sweet plantain balls stuffed with chorizo and guava, risotto croquettes with an Alfredo sauce, and mahi mahi tempura in spicy aioli. The dining room and bar are bright and Bohemian, and are adjacent to a beautiful Spanish colonial courtyard.
