I worry about the world’s declining fish populations, so a sushi place that only serves sustainably harvested fish from healthy populations is a no-brainer for me. And when the sushi is as fresh and delicious as it is at Bamboo Sushi, I can heartily recommend it to others as well (even though I'm breaking my own rule about not including chain restaurants). The eight-piece rolls here are wonderful for sharing—try “The Local” with albacore tuna, jalapeños, and cucumber topped with East Coast red crab and sesame aioli. The assorted sushi and sashimi plates let you sample the freshest fish of the day. There are also meat dishes, vegetarian options (including vegetarian sushi), and lots of dishes can be made gluten-free.
