Wind & Reef Restaurant
Lunch in the middle of a wind farm (surrounded by giant windmills and facing the ocean and reef) is as much about the panoramic views as it is about the food. And if it’s a windy day, you’ve struck gold, what with the whirring and low tide exposing the large natural reef rock. As for the food: The menu is all PEI, with offerings like lobster omelets and potato biscuits. Seafood chowder, pan-fried haddock, PEI oysters on the half shell, and the Lighthouse Keepers Platter are all made with the freshest of fish. Portions are generous and the prices reasonable.
