Hotels in Puerto Madryn

Puerto Madryn hotels are virtually all situated along the main coastal road, Avenida Roca (which turns into Bd. Brown farther south), or a few blocks inland. Besides the avant-garde Hotel Territorio, most are still family-run, old-fashioned hotels that aren't exactly chic. When this guide was published, a local hotel chain, Rayentray, was reopening the giant 180-room multistory white hotel toward the south end of the waterfront. Most visitors to Puerto Madryn spend only 2 or 3 nights here. They visit the peninsula 1 day and Punta Tombo the next, and then fly out. Parking is free at hotels in Puerto Madryn. Prices have soared here over the past few years, especially during the busy months of October and November; some hotels will offer you a cheaper price if you pay in cash. Rates listed are for high season, September through March.
