Costa Dorada -- Much smaller than Playa Dorada, Costa Dorada lies within a 3-minute drive west from Playa Dorada, within a landscaped compound, a mini version of Playa Dorada, which might expand as newer hotels are added to its infrastructure.

Playa Cofresi -- Cofresi lies within a 10-minute drive west from the center of Puerto Plata, on the opposite side of the city from the more easterly Costa Dorada and Playa Dorada.
