The B&B’s home was built in the Georgian style in 1851 by architect Charles Baillargé, and the high ceilings and older woodwork add a bit of romance. Guests here are usually won over by Maison du Fort’s friendly owner and purring house cats. The B&B starts your day nicely with muffins, tea, and coffee. With a nod to the posh Château Frontenac nearby, each room has a goose down duvet. Note that you’ll need to climb few stairs to get into the B&B and rooms are located up one, two, or three full flights of stairs.
