There's a nearby self-service restaurant at the Ein Gedi beach called Pundak Ein Gedi. The food is plain, but passable. Guests staying at Kibbutz Ein Gedi get a 15% discount. The air-conditioned restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and "tea" until 6pm. Basic (kosher) chicken, meat, and vegetarian main courses are under NIS 45 ($11/£5.60). It's open daily 10am to 6pm; an adjacent minimart is open daily 7:30am to 8pm. Guests of Kibbutz Ein Gedi also get discounts for the Ein Gedi Spa restaurant and for the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve.
