Carambola Gardens
These tropical gardens, across from Anthony's Key Resort, have a nice collection of native plants of the Bay Islands, and are a good spot on Roatán to check out rare iguanas and parrots. You can spend a couple of hours here easy, just taking in the views of reefs below, strolling around the trails, and hiking to the top of "Carambola Mountain." Kids might not enjoy this as much as some of the older visitors. On cruise ship days, the serenity can be lost.
