Parador de Ronda
As is so often the case, the parador has the best location in town—perched on the edge of El Tajo gorge next to the Puente Nuevo bridge. It occupies the stern-looking former town hall (see below).

The interior style is contemporary, with an airy atrium and simple, elegant guest rooms decorated in subdued colors. Nothing distracts from the extraordinary views, which are the point of staying here. Some rooms look across the thrilling ravine to the old city, others toward the bullring on the other side. Many have private balconies, and all guests can enjoy the bar terrace and seasonal swimming pool on the edge of El Tajo.
